COVID-19 policies for Pensacon 2023

MASKS RECOMMENDED

Masks or shields that cover the mouth and nose are recommended but not required for ALL Pensacon attendees ages 11 and older, regardless of vaccination status or any other circumstances, inside the Bay Center including the vendor floor, artist alley, and the celebrity halls.

Use of masks or other distancing methods at interactions with guests, including autograph and photo opportunities, will be at the discretion of the individual guests. Some guests may require that a mask stay on while interacting with them.

NO VACCINATION CARD REQUIRED

In accordance with the laws of the state of Florida, we will not be checking vaccination cards at any Pensacon event.

SPREADING OUT

We are again expanding the footprint of our celebrity areas. In addition to our two usual celebrity areas on the east and west sides of the second floor of the Pensacola Bay Center, additional celebrities will be located in the first floor meeting room near the VIP entrance, and on the third floor in the concession area on the east side of the building. You’ll be able to find out which celebrities are in which areas by using the Pensacon app or by picking up a list when you enter the con.

MORE OUTDOORS

T-Mobile presents Poseidon’s Bay, our outdoor area in front of the Pensacola Bay Center, will be expanded this year. Opening one hour before the Bay Center, the area will feature an array of outdoor activities, additional vendors, community groups and continuous live entertainment on our outdoor stage.

KEEPING IT CLEAN

Hand sanitizing stations will be available throughout the venues, and surface cleaning will take place throughout the convention. Some guests and vendors may additionally be using plexiglass screens for additional protection, including during photo opportunities.

As a privately owned and operated event, we reserve the right to refuse service and/or eject anyone who refuses to comply with these policies. No refund will be issued if you are ejected for violating these policies.

If you have further questions or concerns about safety and COVID protocols at Pensacon, please email us at info@pensacon.com, and we will address your concerns.

We look forward to seeing everyone Feb. 24-26 for a very safe and fun Pensacon 2023!
