Andrew E. C. Gaska

The 2020 and 2021 ENnie and UKGE Award-winning settings and adventure writer for the ALIEN Roleplaying Game, Andrew is a creative director, designer, and sci-fi author with twenty years of industry experience. He is the lead writer for the Terminator RPG and creative director of the Carbon Grey RPG.

Outside of gaming, Andrew’s work includes Planet of the Apes prose novels and Choose Your Own Adventure graphic novel adaptations. He is the founder/creative director of the guerrilla integrated media studio BLAM! Ventures and a freelance franchise consultant to 20th Century Studios, writing series bibles for the legacy franchises of ALIEN, Predator, and Planet of the Apes. For seventeen years he was a consultant for Rockstar Games on titles such as Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption.

His blog at rogue-reviewer.com showcases political and entertainment essays and observations that draw controversial debate and discussion from all sides. Andrew and his gluttonous feline Adrien currently live in St. Louis beneath a mountain of action figures. Much to Drew’s bewilderment, Adrien can often be found perched atop this pinnacle of plastic, proclaiming himself ‘lord of the figs.’
