Garret Dillahunt’s film credits include 12 Years a Slave,  Braven,  Come and Find Me, Benched,  Beast,  Any Day Now,  Houston (winner Best Actor at Italy’s Fantasporto Film Festival),  Looper,  the title character in Oliver Sherman (Genie nomination),  John Sayles’ Amigo,  The Road,  The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford,  No Country For Old Men (SAG Award Best Ensemble ),  Last House on the Left,  Winter’s Bone (Gotham Award Best Ensemble),  Against the Sun, and has just completed filming on  Steve McQueen’s “Widows” opposite Viola Davis.

On television, you might be familiar with his work on HBO’s critically acclaimed “Deadwood,” in which he portrayed both the assassin Jack McCall and the deviant Francis Wolcott.   He is John Dorie in “Fear the Walking Dead,”  KD in “Hand of God,” opposite Ron Perlman, streaming on Amazon,  he spent four seasons as Burt Chance on FOX’s half-hour comedy “Raising Hope”  and joined the cast of “The Mindy Project” in its fourth season.

Additional television credits include the final season of  “Justified,” “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles,” “John From Cincinnati,”  “ER,”  “The 4400,”  “Damages,”  “Life,”  “Lie to Me,”  “Law & Order: SVU,”  “Criminal Minds,”  “Burn Notice,” “Maximum Bob” and many others.

On stage, he has performed extensively on and off Broadway and around the country with such companies as Steppenwolf,  ACT San Francisco, the Seattle Repertory Theatre, Huntington Theatre Company, Williamstown Theatre Festival and the Berkshire Theatre Festival.  Dillahunt studied journalism at the University of Washington and went on to earn his M.F.A. through New York University’s graduate acting program.
