Tatyana Yassukovich was born in England. At the age of sixteen she went to learn languages in Switzerland and Germany and became fluent in French and German. Tatyana moved to the United States when she was twenty and started acting at Duke University where she was cast as the lead in Jared Harris’ film DARKMOOR.
Tatyana moved to New York City and studied acting at the Lee Strasberg Institute and became a member of the Actors Studio, performing in many off Broadway theaters and acting in films.
Tatyana moved to Los Angeles and became a voice over actress. She portrayed the Baroness in G.I. Joe: Renegades and Barriss Offee in Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Morgaine Le Fey in Batman: The Brave and the Bold, among other roles.
When she found herself raising five children, she started writing plays. Tatyana moved to Philadelphia in 2013 and started writing and directing films. She won the Golden Trolley award at the Media Film Festival with her film The Audition. Her four short films based on the lives of actors in theatre were turned into a series called THE FOURTH WALL, which was released on Amazon Prime in September 2019. A second season is in the works. Tatyana is currently working on a screenplay about the opera singer Pauline Viardot, which will be filmed in Capetown, South Africa. Tatyana is also developing her feature film A TAIL OF MANY THINGS.
