It’s easy to understand how Randy Havens, as Mr. Clarke, quickly became everyone’s favorite teacher/A.V. Club supervisor after binge-watching season one of Netflix’s smash hit “Stranger Things.” He reprised the role of Mr. Clarke in seasons 2 and 3, and returned to play an even larger part in season 5.
Havens has appeared in both the Marvel and DC universes. At Marvel, he appeared in “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” as the bat-like Till, and as Kamala Khan’s driving instructor in “Ms. Marvel.” At DC, he appeared as Paul Delsinger in multiple episodes of the CW hit series, “Stargirl,” as well as having a small role in James Gunn’s “The Suicide Squad.”
Other memorable roles inluce concerned father George Fier on “Fear Street: Part Three – 1666,” pawnbroker McKenna on “Sleepy Hollow,” Dr. Tim Mancini in “Godzilla: King of the Monsters,” and Kenny in “Grosse Pointe Garden Society.” During “Archer’s” seventh season, Randy provided the voice for Mr. Rompers, the leader of a party-crashing clown gang out to steal something valuable.
Randy has also appeared on “The Vampire Diaries,” “Resurrection,” “Reckless,” “The Game,” “Past Life” and “House of Payne.” Other credits include “Let’s Be Cops, “Good Intentions,” “Geostorm,” “Living the Dream, “Boy Erased” and “The Front Runner.”
