Poseidon’s Bay is the enclosed area in the front parking lot of the Bay Center housing food trucks, various organizations, displays, activities, and a stage for performances. Attendees walk through Poseidon’s Bay before entering the Bay Center.

Pensacon allows organizations such as non-profit businesses, youth groups, fan clubs, and other conventions and events to set up in Poseidon’s Bay free of charge. Certain fundraisers by organizations may be allowed, but must be approved by Pensacon staff.

Organizations that want to set up in Poseidon’s Bay will need to provide their own 10’ x 10’ tent and table plus the appropriate weights to hold down the tent. Tents larger than 10’ x 10’ need to have the proper permits filed with the City of Pensacola, and the organization is responsible for acquiring this permit. Pensacon is not responsible for damage done to tents or property. No power will be provided in Poseidon’s Bay, so organizations setting up there will need to bring their own battery power source (no gas-powered generators allowed) as needed.

Poseidon’s Bay will be enclosed by a fence that will be locked outside of operating hours. Bay Center security will be on hand to monitor the area. Gates will be open to attendees one hour prior to opening time for the Bay Center (Friday noon, Saturday and Sunday 9:00 am), so all organizations must be set up by that time. Gates will be locked one hour after closing time (Friday 9:00 pm, Saturday 7:00 pm). Poseidon’s Bay organizations will have a designated gate for entry and exit.

Parking will not be provided for organizations setting up in Poseidon’s Bay.

Due to pedestrian safety in the front parking lot, organizations in Poseidon’s Bay will not be allowed to drive vehicles through the lot on days of the show from one hour before opening to closing time. If you must tear down and reset each day, you only have one hour after closing time for load out, and load-in must be done during the specified hours.

Load-In times are as follows:
Thursday, February 23: 10:00 am – 6:00 pm
Friday, February 24: 9:00 am – noon
Saturday, February 25: 7:00 am – 9:00 am
Sunday, February 26: 7:00 am – 9:00 am

Food trucks wishing to set up in Poseidon’s Bay need to contact the Bay Center. Exhibitors, including vendors, artists, and authors, will be set up inside and must go through the proper applications. Organizations that wish to also do an activity outside the scope of their tent, such as a performance on stage, need to fill out the Panel, Workshop, and Special Activity application.
